Up-to-date disclosure of support

An organisation must submit an up-to-date disclosure of support if the amount of support received from the same donor is at least EUR 2,000 (as from 1 July 2025) during a calendar year.

The disclosure obligation applies to

  • political parties
  • associations referred to in the government grant decision
  • other party associations
  • affiliated entities.

A political party, a party association and an entity affiliated to a political party must submit a disclosure on the amount of support received and the donor. The disclosure must be filed if the value of an individual contribution or several contributions received by a political party, a party association or an affiliated entity from the same donor is at least EUR 2,000 (as from 1 July 2025) during a calendar year. Support received before 1 July 2025 must be disclosed in an up-to-date disclosure when the value of the support is at least EUR 1,500.

An up-to-date disclosure of the support must be filed by the 15th day of the calendar month following the month during which the contribution was received. Disclosures filed after this date will be received and published as late submissions. The up-to-date disclosure is submitted in the NAOF's online service.

The up-to-date disclosure must state the amount of the contribution and the donor. If the donor is an entity or foundation, the disclosure must state the donor's name and business ID, if the donor has one. If the donor is a private individual, the disclosure must state their first and last name.

The up-to-date disclosure must always be supplemented if, after the disclosure has been submitted or supplemented, the value of new contributions received from the same donor exceeds the following EUR 2,000. Thus, more than one disclosure may have to be filed, if necessary, on contributions from the same donor. This means that the disclosure must always be supplemented when the next EUR 2,000 limit is exceeded (i.e. when the contributions total at least EUR 4,001, EUR 6,002, etc.). Before 1 July 2025, the disclosure must be submitted when the next EUR 1,500 limit is exceeded.

A political party must submit up-to-date disclosures on support received. A party must also ensure that its party associations and affiliated entities file up-to-date disclosures on contributions received by them.
