Up-to-date disclosure of loans taken

A political party, a party association and an entity affiliated to a political party must file a disclosure of a loan taken if the value of the loan is at least EUR 2,000.

The disclosure must include the following information about the loan taken:

  • the amount of the loan
  • the lender and
  • the repayment plan of the loan.

If the lender is an entity other than a credit institution as referred to in chapter 1, section 7 of the Act on Credit Institutions (610/2014), the lender must be named in the disclosure.

A disclosure must be submitted if the total value of a single loan or of several loans taken from the same lender by a political party, a party association or an entity affiliated to a political party amounts to at least EUR 2,000 during a calendar year.

The up-to-date disclosure of loans taken must be supplemented if, after the disclosure has been submitted or supplemented, the total value of loans taken from the same lender exceeds EUR 2,000. Several disclosures may need to be submitted for loans taken from the same lender.

An up-to-date disclosure of loans taken must be submitted by the 15th day of the calendar month following the receipt of the loan. Disclosures submitted after this date will be received and published as late submissions. The disclosure is submitted in the service portal.
