Financial statements
Political parties and entities affiliated with them shall submit their financial statements to the NAOF within three months of the adoption of the financial statements. The associations referred to in government decisions shall submit their financial statements to the NAOF within one month of the adoption of the financial statements.
Political parties and the associations indicated in government grant decisions shall submit the following financial statement documents to the NAOF:
- auditor’s report
- financial statements
- management report
- accounts regarding the use of the government grant
- summary of the up-to-date disclosures submitted during the financial year
- itemisation of election campaign funding and costs if a general election was held during the financial year.
Entities affiliated with political parties shall submit the following documents to the NAOF:
- auditor’s report
- financial statements
- management report
- itemisation of the contributions received by the affiliated entities.
The financial statement documents can be submitted only via the Service portal. The National Audit Office will publish the documents on its website in the form they have been submitted to it. No receipts or copies of them are to be attached to the financial statements.
